Jesus, I knew I didnt use much talk time–I’m all text and data–but from the look of this, I don’t even need the “phone” bit at all.

My new coat arrived, and although it’s still a bit big around and if the shoulders were any smaller, it wouldn’t fit, the sleeves are long enough and I love it. I still might take it in a bit…not sure yet. I also scored a pair of Guido & Mary jeans for $20 on eBay; someone in PA doesn’t realise they retail for $200, I guess. I needed chocolate brown jeans for fall and had almost bought coated Levis, but that style is just a bit tighter at the ankle than I wanted. The Guido & Mary ones are right, though. The sweater I got is more taupe than brown, but a little iDye Poly and it’ll be fine, I think. It wasn’t expensive anyway.
Both pairs of jeans fit perfectly, the green ones are just the right colour, the “dollar more than shipping” scarf us pretty and the colours are perfect for fall. Lots of win today!
I’m soooooo glad I sprang for both pairs of MIA combat boots because they’re the cutest ever and I can’t decide which colour I like better! I hate most combat-style boots because the ankle is always wide, and being laced boots, they look stupid if they’re not fitted at the ankle, but these are perfect. The laces are better than I’d thought, but I still might change them. What I wouldn’t change is the fact that they’re the same sole/heel and built on the same last as my beloved Buckleys. OMG, they’re cute, and I can’t wait until it’s cool enough to wear them!
I found the same coat in a size smaller, so I bought it, and once I have it, I’ll try them both on and decide which fits better, then return the other, or (if shipping charges piss me off) sell it on eBay for enough that I don’t lose money, but priced low enough that it should sell quickly. Problem solved…ish.
Why are so many clothes made for chunky people?! I bought that gorgeous coat, which fits perfectly in the shoulders, sleeves and length, but it’s much too big around. Even if I wore a heavy sweater under it, it’d still be too big. I thought about returning it and getting the next size down, but that would probably be too tight across the shoulders and/or too short in the sleeves. I’m not tearing the whole damned thing apart to resize the body, so I guess I’m down to taking it in a bit on the sides and possibly turning it into a double-breasted. I dunno. There’s obviously a reason I end up buying juniors’ tops so often…manufacturers seem to think everyone over the age of 21 is a fatass. Grrr.
AT&T finally got “4G” (AKA rebranded 3G) here, and it only took four years! Finally…a reason I care that my unlimited data is grandfathered in. Welcome to 2009, AT&T!
Three words that should never occur in the same sentence: plus-size, sexy, and plaid. I’m eBaying again, and nothing about a size 3 (fat sizes, so like…24-26) plaid shirt is even remotely “sexy”. Count on it!
Fresh out of enthusiasm for going back to work today. I think I should just stay home and shop, and they can send me cheques!
