Well, our host fucked AQM yet again. It went down yesterday in the early evening and it’s still down as of eight this AM. I emailed CT to tell him (nothing I could do–connection was up, they just lost our stuff) and he was pissed; this isn’t the first time they’ve toasted our site. Betcha his Sunday night involved a good bit of Red Bull, but I’m certainly not going to bother him to ask. I hope we don’t have to restore from an old backup again like we did the last time; t’was CT who had the recent one, not our host. Theirs was months old. AFAIK, there aren’t any new articles except his on rainbow fish (I’m sure he’s got a copy of that), but what kind of a fuckup loses an entire site not once but twice and still calls itself a host? My host goes down for a few minutes once in a while (though they do stay over their uptime guarantee), but they’ve never lost my stuff or P’s. Well, not so far at least, and that’s a damned good thing because although I’m sure I have copies of all the files there, I don’t have copies arranged by the directories in which they exist there. Oopsie.

Well, no AQM, read Slashdot and in desperation even read Digg (yuck to the new interface colours, yay to the new rating system), but now I have no more excuses not to get started on laundry and my weekly game of Find The House.
