Why don’t they just write, “I already know you’re going to ID my (whatever) because I am godlike and you’d do anything for me, but I can’t be arsed to come back and acknowledge that you did, in fact, ID my (whatever), so…here are three whole words for you, since I’m already here. Goddamn, I’m so good to you!”

The next time I see any form of “thanks in advance”, I’m identifying whatever it is as either something venomous and terribly dangerous, or a species of house pest, or both….
