Ubuntu

Who do I have to sleep with (or should that be whom) to get an install CD image that doesn’t fail the md5 check?? I’ve tried the Breezy preview and the Hoary stable. I’ve tried HTTP, wget and Jigdo (all three more than once), and if I had the day-plus to wait for the might-as-well-be-dial-up speed, I’d even have tried BitTorrent. I could just order the free CD, but I don’t want to wait six weeks for it to get here. Every image I’ve downloaded has failed the check. Why is there no FTP site hosting this? The last time I tried to get it, I couldn’t get a good image, either. I must have angered the gods of Debian when I uninstalled Sarge and until I offer a sacrifice, they will not permit me a working copy of Ubuntu. Hm.
