I was too lazy to properly strip it, but I think with a couple of coats of white primer and antique white paint, it’ll be okay. B gave me some lexan (and even cut it to size for me), and once this is painted, the lexan will be shelves, and it’ll be a plant stand. The other one in the “parlour” is black with wood shelves, but I’m putting this one over by the loveseat, so I think antique white will be better. Clear shelves will be better for plants, since it’s across the room (although the walls are light, and I’m planning on low-light plants there anyway.)
Only one coat of primer so far (and even that only on what I could reach without flipping it), but I’ll do one more, then a couple of coats of Rustoleum paint.
Apropos of exactly nothing and having nothing whatsoever to do with the Projects category, here is a revoltingly cute baby opossum. Yes, I do pronounce the “o”; I wasn’t born in a shack by a crick.
