I groomed/tidied up my front room plants, and although it could’ve used another coat of heritage white, it was too cold and windy to paint, so it went as it was. I think it came out okay. B not only gave me the lexan for the shelves, but cut it to size for me! Now […]

The first guy turned out to be a scammer, but this one didn’t (and I got a full refund for the first), and now I am the proud possessor of approximately 330 hours of what is probably my favourite TV show ever.

It’s turned cold again, but one brave miniature daffy-down-dilly bloomed anyway.

Heritage white (when I forget)

Friday, February 24th, 2017

I didn’t even notice until I got home yesterday and saw about 10 of the purple ones had bloomed.  The hyacinths, daffy-down-dillies, and those goddamned lilies have grown a lot since Saturday!

It sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Yes, yes it does! A person may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but cannot be Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Idiot. The English language…have […]

If I were as fast as Onje, and had his claws, I would catch European starlings and House sparrows, and I would wring their necks. Then, I would hang the bodies by their feet from the trees as a warning to the rest. I am so sick of feeding those fucking trash birds when I’m […]

Damn, I buy a lot of seeds! I had managed only the Grey-headed Coneflower as far as cold-stratification until today, so I did the rest. This year, I didn’t use soil; I used leftover sand from the fish tanks. It’s supposed to be inert, so I’m hoping I haven’t ruined all of my seeds, but […]
