Well, there went my grand intentions of getting my work done early. I couldn’t get logged into MSN this morning (maybe MS changed the goddamned protocol again to lock out non-MS clients), but thought I’d do a quick check on FB. I happened to notice that L(K) was logged into chat, so I sent a drive-by. There’s some election there today, so he was in the mood to discuss politics, and for someone so stream-of-consciousness as he, that turns into a long discussion about absolutely everything. It wasn’t long after I started that J. logged in, and we hadn’t talked for…oh, several days, so I wanted to chat with her as well. I generally don’t talk to more than one person at a time because it’s…well, it just seems a bit rude to me because I’m not giving my full attention to either one, but J. said she didn’t mind, and L. types slowly anyway. So, after two rather long coversations; one with a sociologist/philospher and another with a psychologist, I’m too brain-drained to write what I wanted to write when I logged in here to post, and on top of that, I’m nearly 2h late getting started with my work. So…so much for blogging, but that’s okay; whatever I was going to write was probably something less than profound anyway, and if I don’t GTFO, the fish will have evolved to amphibians. I’ll be profound another day…perhaps after I’ve figured out the best method to install the SVN version of aMSN. 🙂
