There. I’ve installed a pink theme, changed my icon theme and put Hello Kitty on the desktop. If this doesn’t better a day that started with an asshat, nothing will. Well, either it’ll cheer me up or pink me to death. 🙂

Yes, PLEASE email me two fucking enormous pictures of your fish first thing in the morning! Don’t crop a thing–with truly humongous pictures, I can absolutely see exactly why she has cloudy eyes when all you have for water parameters is a vague, subjective description, entirely free of those pesky numbers, courtesy of some dickhead […]
Wouldn’t It Be Good Every time I hear this song, I’m taken right back to the time that Tisha, Tracey, Karen, Cheryl and me were at Tisha’s dad’s cabin. Electricity and water, but no phone and the bathroom plumbing wasn’t hooked up yet. We’d all been loaded drunk the night before, and I was sorely […]
If you take fifteen minutes to learn how to use EasyTAG, you can save yourself literally days of typing. All tagged and good to go, and all it took to “reset” the incorrect information in gtkpod was deleting my .gtkpod directory and redoing the import. Now that all of the genres are correct, it was […]
…until you try to put it all in boxes? Yes, but not this time. Don’t know what you’ve got until you try to organise it? Well, that’s closer, but still not quite. Don’t know what you’ve got until you try to edit the mp3 tags on years of files when you’d historically not cared whether […]
I decided this AM that I’d try an upgrade from Breezy to Dapper rather than a clean install even though I had Automatix installed, mostly because it takes me forever to get things just the way I want them. I’m not big on “default”. I had to remove the repositories that Automatix added, but that’s […]
The Last To Know I just love my li’l Shuffle. By the time I get a bunch of songs on it, I’ve forgot half of what I put on there, so it’s like a nice surprise when I set it on “shuffle” and never know what I’m going to hear. I know I’ll like it […]
Okay… Originally uploaded by Mean and Pinchy. On Saturday, it was a half-starved mother cat and her three kittens (in surprisingly good condition, which was why she herself was so thin) found near the 18th tee on the DG course. We took them to the shelter. On Sunday, the rescue came to us in the […]
Or at least buy me a house…on the other side of town. Scenario: A train crashes into a yard sale in the parking lot of Wal*Mart during their July 5th 50% off clearance. The result? The front porch of this house. Like it wasn’t fucking bad enough, he’s rearranged it (AGAIN), and added…cattle. Plastic cows, […]
IDNR Originally uploaded by Mean and Pinchy. Hey, cool. I can post straight here from Flickr.
