Hyper-heatsink

Cooler Master Hyper 48. It’s huge, its fan is huge, it’s copper, it’s got four heat pipes. I don’t think I’d want to haul this bad boy around to too many LAN parties because I’d have a big hole in the mobo and every card in the case trashed if I did, but it should do a good job of keeping the processor cool no matter what I’m doing. My last Cooler Master was pretty big, but when this arrived yesterday, I thought, “DAMN why did they use such a big box?” Then I opened the box and realised why. It’s not installed yet because I’m not crawling under my desk to unhook everything right now, but it’s here. I won’t be able to use the “heat funnel” on the case, but that’s okay–given the size of this heatsink, I won’t need to funnel the heat anywhere because it’ll be right up next to the vent.
